Replicate SFG Dashboard SSH Host Key Grabber and key display functionality for SSP SFTP Forward Proxy

When defining a SFTP link from SFG to connect directly to a target trading partner, SFG Dashboard Trading Partner SSH Known Host Key supports:

• The option using Key Grabber to obtain key directly from Remote Host using DNS/IP and Port target details and once grabbed you can validate the fingerprint and details before saving

• When selecting an existing SSH Know Host Key entry it displays the key type and fingerprint

• Multiple Known Host Keys can be linked to a single SSH Remote Profile

If using SSP SFTP Forward Proxy to connect outbound to a target trading partner, the Known Host key used to validate the partner target server is stored within a SSPCM SSH Known Host Key Store.

However, the basic functions on SFG Dashboard Trading Partner SSH Known Host Key are not available for SSP:

• There is no Key Grabber type option so the remote Host Key has to be accepted outside of SSP, stored and then imported from file

• There is no fingerprint validation when importing a public Known Host Key to a SSP Known Host Key Store

• When adding a new Known Host Key, there is a Host/IP field which only accepts IP address (fails to save if a DNS is used in that field)

• When you review an existing Known Host Key entry in a SSP Known Host Key Store it displays the key itself with no option to view the key fingerprint / type

• SSPCM only allows one Known Host Key to be linked to a SFTP FP Outbound Node

Can the same functionality available on SFG Dashboard for Trading Partner SSH Known Host Key be available on SSP SFTP Forward Proxy for consistent approach and user experience.
