Possibility for SSP to alter some parameters for incoming HTTP connections before forming new connection to B2Bi

Hi Prashant,

Yes, you are correct. Client connects to SSP and then SSP breaks the connection and makes a new connection from SSP to backend server (B2B). The session ID remains the same in both connection i.e inbound (cleint to SSP ) and outbound ( SSP to backend B2B ). Still the point here to note down is we don't change the protocol in between the whole connection flow. If it is coming from HTTP/1.1 then it will make same connection to the backend as well. We act as a reverse proxy, we don't check the data being send in the request and response. Our work is to make secure connection between client and backend server.

As confimed in my previous post, We do not modify or upgrade the protocol version during the communication flow. It is recommended to use HTTP/1.1 and above.

These kind of request comes under the SSP Product Enhancement request. You can submit a Request for Enhancement (RFE) at Watson Supply Chain Ideas. Your suggestion will be sent directly to IBM Product Management for their consideration. You will also receive a formal response from them regarding your request, estimation and timelines for this.

Please refer to the SSP RFE link: https://watsonsupplychain.ideas.ibm.com/?project=SSP2
