Suppress password policy error messages from SEAS logs if using Ping for Active Directory.

ERROR LdapPasswordPolicyRetriever - ************** Uknown or unsupported LDAP server detected

We use Ping for our Active Directory solution and it was determined that Ping does not return the password policy to SEAS as expected. Therefore, this error is thrown to the logs every time a customer connects to our B2Bi/SFG application. That means that there are tens of thousands of this message in our seas logs on a daily basis. We would like a way to suppress this message from showing up in the logs.

What is your industry? Banking
How will this idea be used?

This will remove tens of thousands of error messages from the logs on a daily basis.

Thank you for taking the time to provide your ideas to IBM. We truly value our relationship with you and appreciate your willingness to share details about your experience, your recommendations, and ideas.

We reviwed this with L3 and Development team and here is our recommendation.

If SEAS does not support the back end LDAP server change password feature, , then update the Change Password Settings of the SEAS profile, uncheck the "Profile can be used to change password". This should supress the error message. Please let us know if this does not help.

    Thanks,
