Allow customization of LDAP ping "dummy" user

It is possible to configure a periodic "heartbeat" that checks the connection to External Auth, and it is also possible to have it attempt an LDAP bind (via the ea.ping.profile setting).

However, when it does this LDAP bind, it uses a fake user ("dummy") to bind. This causes constant bind failures and causes alerts in the LDAP service monitoring. If it was possible to configure this user to an actual user & password, it would eliminate the constant bind failures.

What is your industry? Banking
How will this idea be used?

This will be used to minimize alerting and reduce load on the monitoring team.

Great idea that we can only support ! We are experiencing the same side-effects because of the flooding of seas.log with java exceptions. Aside from filling up the log files and making them rotate more rapidly, differentiation between these an other errors is more difficult.
