SFO to consider the ad hoc/unplanned node delays during optimization
The ad hoc delays need to be captured in SFO as separate parameter in order to account, longer processing time to ship the orders from the nodes during and post a sale event or, shortage in the manpower leading to delays.
The ad-hoc delays need to be considered by the Optimizer in the decision-making process for the optimal node to fulfill the item.
What is your industry?
How will this idea be used?
As a consumer, the order will be fulfilled by a node (without ad-hoc delays) that can ship and deliver the order faster, as compared to node with ad-hoc delays configured during the time period.
