SIP : Network availability API to return node-level availability view

Retailers who use an external Order Management System (OMS) or order sourcing and SIP for inventory visibility / promising, often do not maintain individual node identifiers which is having inventory. In the current model, external systems must explicitly pass one or more node IDs in order to retrieve node-level availability. This creates unnecessary dependency on the caller to pass the list of nodes to be evaluated, adding integration complexity or additional api invocation to retrieve node ids.

We are requesting an enhancement to support availability lookup by Network / distribution ID, allowing the caller to pass a network instead of specific nodes. Sterling SIP would automatically consider all nodes associated with that network and return availability details only for the nodes where available quantity > 0.

Behavior should remain backward-compatible: node-level calls continue working as-is.
Network-level lookup can follow existing entitlement and ATP/ATS logic without modification.

How will this idea be used?

Enhancing this capability would allow us to achieve a single-transaction flow to retrieve node availability from a network perspective, while also providing external sourcing systems with a clear list of candidate nodes to determine the best fulfillment option, based on availability types.
