Calculate and publish Inventory Availability Based on Item Assigned Attribute Changes

Existing inventory availability calculations do not automatically adjust to changes in custom item attributes (ItemAssignedAttribute) leading to potential inaccuracies in stock levels and order fulfillment. For example, if the department value is stored in one of the item attribute eccnNo, When the eccnNo (item.attribute.code.eccnNo) of an item is modified, the associated safety stock rule does not trigger automatically. Manual updating of any safety stock rule is required to reflect the change in availability.

 

Ideally, the modify API for the item attribute change should trigger the availability calculation and publish the latest availability.
