SIP should consider DG level priority while calculating EDD to make sure that Business defined nodes are used for sourcing - otherwise forecasting in terms of node capacity will get impacted. Key requirement to support the business requirements

The assumption is that the user would like distribution groups to be consider in the EDD calculation. Today all shipnodes are considered regardless of distribution group.
