Sterling filegateway does not support Windows Authentication

Sterling filegateway does not support Windows Authentication, currently it just supports SQL authtentication, this is causing issues with keeping up to current security standards.

What is your industry? Insurance
How will this idea be used?

Instead of using SQL authetication which requires the admin to know the USER ID and PWD and maintain it manually, windows authentication can be used.

    I need a little more information to understand your idea. Today we support Windows Authentication using user/password and a URL to the DB.

    • Can you elaborate on the use case with an end-to-end state diagram?

    • Please describe any other additional components you want involved in this process, i.e. LDAP, Active Directory, etc.


    I'm looking forward to your response. Once I can develop a clear picture of your request, I'll be able to let you know if we can add your idea to our future offering roadmap.
