In PGP, the master key and its associated subkeys have different usage (SCEA).
PUBKEY_USAGE_SIG S
PUBKEY_USAGE_CERT C
PUBKEY_USAGE_ENC E
PUBKEY_USAGE_AUTH A
In SI with GPG, we only need to define the master key for Trading Partner and GPG will auto use the associated sub keys which have the usage (e.g. encryption).
In SI native PGP, If master secret key does not have encryption key usage but its associated subkeys has encryption KU the native PGP does not take the subkey into consideration for encryption. In addition, the key usage could be assigned to different sub-keys but we only can define 1 PGP key id per Trading partner.
Can native PGP search the associated sub keys with master key for encryption (outbound) and signing verification (inbound)?
Can the key usage be shown in the Dashboard too?
