Request enhancement to failover characteristic for B2B Integrator/SFG

We would like to request an enhancement of the failover characteristic of the product. During functional testing we have observed delays of up to an hour in re-establishing normal operations of the UI and scheduler in the surviving nodes. The test scenario was of a loss of data centre in a 4 node, 2 data centre architecture (2 nodes per data centre).

In response to the 2 support cases we have created for this product behaviour (TS009204336 and TS009126955), we have been told the product is acting as designed. This length of delay in processing is not within scope of acceptability for the level of service we offer our clients, and therefore require a decrease of failover timing.

How will this idea be used?

This is very important in case of an active active cluster.

We have accepted this request for enhancement for improving cluster failover behavior during a "non-graceful" shutdown. Consideration will be given on differences in behavior between traditional "VM" approach vs. RHCOP Containers.
