Currently when we have an external customer connect to us using sftp our sftp authentication method requires that someone go into B2Bi User Accounts and select the "Both" option for authentication type. This requires admin access which we would prefer to not provide to our implementation people.

How will this idea be used?
When a new trading partner is being implemented. If that partner requires to connect to us using sftp the person implementing would be able to select the Both option in Partner creation and not require the Partner to be created or edited in B2Bi. Also we have found that editing the partner in B2Bi and selecting the Both auth type option requires a password be entered which could be a problem as the admin would not know what password the implementer used to create the Partner, and even if that password was known it would not allow the same password to be used. |

Another issue I have with this is if after this is all set up and working someone goes into the partner setup and makes certain changes it changes it out of Both and will no longer work until someone goes into the account and sets it back to both.
This enhancement should include the ability to assign 'Both' to a partner through the REST API when creating them.
Ryan are you looking for info or anything? Just curious, this is the second email I've gotten saying this has changed to under review.
