Provide configuration for Edge Based Route in SEAS Helm Chart

Currently, SEAS creates OpenShift routes using passthrough termination. If a customer wants to use edge termination, they must manually modify the route template provided with the product.

Our request is to provide a supported configuration option in the Helm charts so that customers can choose the route termination type during deployment without customizing IBM-provided helm chart.

Requested enhancement

Add a parameter in values.yaml to select the route termination type.

Support both:

  • Passthrough
  • Edge

Generate the appropriate OpenShift Route automatically based on the configured value.
