Global Mailbox - File Replay From Both DCs

Replay Files:

During normal operations, files often need to be replayed or redelivered for business need.

In a Global Mailbox setup:

  • Files arriving in a data center (e.g., DC1) are processed locally.

  • They are then replicated to other data centers (e.g., DC2).

  • Consumers retrieve files via their configured mailbox (global) or have files delivered via a listening protocols.

Scenario:

A file arrives in DC1 for a producer using Global Mailbox, routed and delivered to a customer that has a listening protocol (e.g. SFTP) then gets replicated to DC2.

Enhancement Needed:

We need the ability to replay a file from alternate DC if the DC that originally received the file is down.

What is your industry? Financial Markets
How will this idea be used?

Enable Global Mailbox users to replay files from both data centers within the environment.
