Ability to cancel an in-progress operation in Configuration Assistant and return to the last successful state

When using the Configuration Assistant to manage connections or perform configuration tasks, users may begin an operation (for example, editing a connection) and then decide to switch to another task before completing the workflow.

This enhancement would allow users to cancel or exit the current operation at any point in the workflow and return directly to the last successfully completed step or view, enabling them to quickly continue working from that point.
