Currently we are receiving connection down/up status files to Inflight at initial times and we need one more file for connection down in order to notify the Customer if the connection to specific host down for longer time.
It's sort of SEV1 issue and we need to inform the Customer regular intervals of time to make sure they should not miss and it will help for the Customer to take immediate action to bring their SAP Server up.

ABC is a Customer who send/receives the data through SAP connection to IBM When their connection is down, IBM will not receive or send the data to their SAP Server and it's delay the Business documents processing. As soon as their connection is down we will get the alerts and we will check the reason for the connection issue and we will notfiy the Cusotmer manually if any action needed by them. With this enhancment, we can avoid manually intervention and automatically as soon as their Server down ERN System will send the notification corrosponding Customer emails. If the connection down for longer times then System automatically send the notification to Customer as a followup in intervals of time according to Customer wish how they want to receive the follow-up notification. |
