Ability to HOLD data at IBM during customer's maintenance window and RELEASE it after maintenance (SAP ALE Connections)

Couple of protocols like CD allows IBM to HOLD inbound data during customer's maintenance/outage window and release it when their system is back to normal. We don't have similar "HOLD" mechanism with other protocols like SAP ALE adapter. 

For Protocol POD SFTP and AS2, at least we have a workaround. Someone from IBM can temporarily change the SFTP or AS2 profile configuration to "deferred delivery" option so that data delivery is delayed until the specified time window. However, we don't have any similar way to HOLD data with SAP ALE connections.

Customer wants us to support HOLD mechanism for inbound data with SAP ALE connections

    The changes are delivered in Q2 2025. The idea is to use the retry settings in connection profile to increase the retry interval between the connection attempts such that the messages are held and not attempted frequently.
