Inflight search using PID as primary rather than advanced search - bypassing date constraints

I ask that Inflight search have a field for PID as a primary search parameter, rather than having to go into advanced search and select process ID for searching - also PID should be unique so it should bypass any date period set on the start and end search dates

How will this idea be used?

Most clients I work with use PID (ProcessID) in Inflight as the primary reference of an instance/document. Searching would be much faster if one did not need to open advanced search and scroll to ProcessID; plus, if a PID is given without a date being known it will not show up in search unless the start and end date are entered in a sufficiently large window - the PID search should bypass the date constraint and show anything within Inflight history.

The field can be pinned as a favorite to the top of the search panel.
