Request for Enhancement : To filter out existing envelopes by names while modifying/cloning new envelopes

While on-boarding partners to our SCBN platform we need to create/modify envelopes in SPE02/Config Centre . For example for an ANSI X12 EDI message we need to create three envelopes ST ,GS and ISA . Each ST envelope needs to be pointed to a corresponding GS and each GS in turn to an ISA envelope . Currently the SPE02 interface lists as a drop down all the envelopes for that particular pod or customer when we try to point to a particular one and in that drop down list we need to locate the only envelope we need to point to which is tedious task . And also sometimes given the huge number of existing envelopes for a particular customer the drop down list wont open and we have to manually change each envelope to point to the one intended to. Example clients Toyota, Ceva Logistics etc which takes up considerable amount of time given envelope numbers are in thousands in some scenarios . This can be applied to EDIFACT and TRADACOMS EDI standards as well .

Instead of a drop down list if we can have a filter where we can search the envelope with its name directly as it would be already created and existing in the pod. With the name we can directly find the envelope we need to point to and we do not have to go through all the envelopes to search and identify through the drop down list.

As part of the Watson Customer Engagement Team we are working on on-boarding partners for our clients into SCBN solution .This idea would simply the solution of on-boarding and can also act well if clients are using self-service to create new envelopes or onboard new partners on their own using SPE02 .

    This idea has been promoted to an Epic for Configuration Hub (Self-Service) and will be reviewed as envelope management is added to this applicaiton.
