Create report that searches all the maps for the codelists they use and provide a downloadable report?

Hi Team — as we transition the Map Search Engine to Config Hub,


Currently, we can search by individual codelists and get the list of all the maps using that code list. And the Map Test Tool, will give us all the codelists that a particular map uses.


We have a request from our client Kerry, to take those a step further. They need a report of all codelists by map name.


With the upcoming move of the map search engine to CH, we will have a "list" of all the codelists for a given client - and all the maps. Could we create a report that searches all the maps for the codelists they use and provide a downloadable report?


We believe this will be valuable information for IBM Services, Support and clients.

    Thank you for submitting this idea - it's a great enhancement request that aligns perfectly with our Config Hub migration strategy.

    I can see the clear value proposition here:

    Current State:

    • Map Search Engine: Search by codelist → get maps using it

    • Map Test Tool: View single map → see all codelists it uses

    Requested Enhancement:

    • Comprehensive report: All maps × all codelists in a downloadable format

    Why This Makes Sense:

    1. Timing is Perfect: With the Map Search Engine transitioning to Config Hub, we have the opportunity to build this capability into the new architecture from the start

    2. Strong Customer Demand: 19 votes already, plus specific requests from Kerry Inc (TS022380309) and CEVA SaaS clients demonstrate real market need

    3. Multi-Stakeholder Value: Benefits IBM Services, Support, and clients - this is exactly the kind of operational efficiency tool that reduces support burden while improving client self-service
