AS2 File status updates

When trying to send a file to the customer, it shows in PCM that the file was successful. See screenshot #1.
When you View Activity, it shows that the file/s were sent to AS2. See screenshot #2.
However, the AS2 connection is not working. When testing in B2B using the AS2 test utility, we are getting an error on the SSL Connection. See screenshot #3.

If the file is not actually being delivered to the customer via the AS2 connection, how can the file show as successful? This will more than likely cause confusion and issues when we begin having more resources working daily in this system. Is it possible to have the Status field in PCM reflect the actually status of the file? i.e. Show Success only if the file was fully delivered to the customer? Show Failed if there was an issue with the delivery and the file was NOT fully delivered to the customer.

FYI we are using out of the box artifacts for PCM file processing
