Dynamic routing of File Transfers

Admins of PCM would benefit from this because it could shorten the file transfer build time. A dynamic dataflow would allow an admin to setup one main transfer that allowed any file dropped into that mailbox to be routed to any outbound partner based on the filename. This capability exists in SFG already.

What is your industry? Banking
How will this idea be used?

Dynamic routing would allow an admin to setup one file transfer route. If there were 3 files, for example: partner1_test.txt, partner2_test.txt, and partner3_test.txt...........dynamic routing would allow PEM/PCM to route each file to a different partner using 1 dataflow. PEM/PCM would read the first part of the file name up to the underscore and send that file to that specific partner, stripping off the <partner_> (from the file name) before it arrives at/in the customers mailbox. SFG can do this by default using regular expressions/route/templates.

If the company can append the partner name to the front of the file name this helps with the routing. If you have 1000 files that all have the customer name in the front, you only need 1 dataflow/route setup. The system determines what partner the files go to based on the file name. Otherwise if you have 1000 files, you have to configure 1000 dataflows.
