PEM application should have a user interface option for data deletion for all the components

In order to conduct penetration testing and identify vulnerabilities, it is sometimes necessary to create specific resources to assess how these vulnerabilities could be exploited. However, it is crucial to emphasize that the data or files generated for testing the system's security must not be retained within the system after the testing is complete. There should be a mechanism in place to ensure the removal of this data because it is not advisable to store such information in a system used for security testing.

Sometimes user uploads files or create some components like division, roles etc by mistake, but they cannot delete it.

The PEM application lacks a user interface option for data deletion and IBM is not able to provide SQL queries so we cannot remove the data we do not want in our system. This request is for all components like users, sponsors, files, roles, divisions etc. Anything that is allowed to be created in PEM using the user interface should have an option to delete it as well.

Thank you for taking the time to provide your ideas to IBM. Your request may not be delivered within the release currently under development, but the theme aligns with our current roadmap and, as such, is being tagged for future consideration and is part of our long-term strategy. We cannot commit to a delivery window at this time, but this is something we agree would be beneficial in the product.

The team will analyze how to expose delete functionality directly within the product and see how this fits with PEM's overall strategy.

IBM may consider and evaluate any community feedback for your request through activities such as voting and we may reach out to you about this request to discuss additional details with you in the future.

We truly value our relationship with you and appreciate your willingness to share details about your experience, your recommendations, and ideas.

If you have any additional feedback or thoughts, or if there is anything else I can do, please do not hesitate to reply to this message to continue the conversation. We recommend having discussions with your account team in 6-9 months for roadmap updates.
