Image Support

When uploading images currently, they are currently limited to the following formats: .jpeg, .png, .gif, .bmp, and .bitmap

There are additional image formats which would be helpful to support.

SVG, TIF, PSD, EPS, AI, INDD, RAW

Unlike older formats like BMP, vector graphic files are scalable. Thus, they can retain a small size and also keep their best possible resolution.

Alternatively, older formats such as bmp/jp/png do not scale as well. Meeting PEM's size requirements means the user needs to resize images multiple times, prior to upload.

I believe that by setting the file extension, IBM is currently attempting to ensure that the user uploads only an image file. However, you will not be able to keep up with changes in the industry. Additionally, the html tag itself will only work when it will display an image. It will not run code.

Lastly, going along with this, the image being sized on the screen currently doesn't provide the resolution it will be displayed at. Displaying the resolution sizes will help ensure the user uploads an appropriate image.
