Support External Authentication of PEM users (Sponsor and Partner users)

No description provided
What is your industry? Automotive
How will this idea be used?

PEM users can only be authenticated locally against credentials (User ID and Password) stored in the PEM database. Our customers want the option to stores their Sponsor users and Partner user accounts in LDAP and have PEM authenticate these users external to PEM database.
This should be applicable for users in PEM Local SaaS as well as PEM in IBM Cloud. This will mean that the authentication for PEM in IBM Cloud will require secure connection to the customer's LDAP services.

External authentication (LDAP) support is currently a roadmap item.  Your comments have been noted and added to the requirement.
