We need a role in Self Service that is only for People who will do deployment in Production.
Currently we only have 4 types of Role in prod
Developer (Production), Developer (Non-Production), Stakeholder and Administrator.
There is no specific segregation of Developer (Production) wherein user roles can be earmarked for Deployment.
What is your industry? | Retail |
How will this idea be used?
Team will allow only specific user ids to manage deployments. This way people who have access to monitor Production but are not required to deploy in Production will get a segregated role. |

Hi Team,
Thank you for this request. We have analyzed the request and after careful validation, we are unable to prioritize this request for now.
Self-Service Tool already provides 2 developer roles. (Documentation can be found here - https://www.ibm.com/docs/en/order-management?topic=management-organization-operations-roles-within-self-service)
One Developer role for the Production environment
Another Developer role for the non-production environments.
The Developer role for the production environment should be sufficient to manage the deployments along with monitoring.
Best Regards.
