Support or Ignore DOCTYPE tag n the XML payload gracefully rather than failing during REST request from 3rd party systems

OMS CoC need to Support or Ignore DOCTYPE tag n the XML payload gracefully rather than failing during REST request from 3rd party systems

OMS is integrated with various 3rd party systems. DOCTYPE is  XML standard and has been followed by various SaaS providers.DOCTYPE is standard way to share the DTD across systems. This is not fair to expect that none of request will have DOCTYPE within OMS.

OMS CoC is having issue or constraint in accepting XML payload with DOCTYPE that needs to be addressed

What is your industry? Retail
How will this idea be used?

Various 3rd party systems can be integrated with OMS without need of intermediate service for removing the DOCTYPE. This intermediate service need effort to manipulate the payload just because OMS CoC has constraint in accepting the industry standard for XML.EX:  Fraud updates on order , SIM activation on Cell Phone and schedule update from work order management systems. all require integration with OMS through XML payload
