Support Additional Attribute Overrides in Sales Order Creation from Contract Orders

Support Additional Attribute Overrides in Sales Order Creation from Contract Orders

Contract sales orders can be created from contract orders using createOrderFromContract and addOrderLinesToOrder APIs.

These apis support overriding only a limited set of attributes (at order and order line level) during sales order creation from contract orders.

However, business scenarios often require dynamic decision-making at the time of sales order creation. For example, attributes like Allocation Rule ID (sourcing constraints) may need to vary based on various factors or could be user defined at that point. The inability to override such attributes through standard APIs forces us to implement complex workarounds, including post-processing logic, or custom extensions, which increase maintenance overhead.
