Hi Vimal, this is being reviewed by the team so I do not have an ETA to share at this point. It will have to be prioritized among the other work that is in progress. We will include CustomerClassificationCode in the enhancement as well as the additional customer reference fields. I am also checking if we can include the related UI change, although that would further delay the expected completion timeframe.
Hi Aaron,
This feature is critical for our go-live. Hence, we need the following details.
What is the ETA for the backend change and SBC UI extension to include new customer reference fields.
We also need pricing rule assignment to support CustomerClassificationCode which is an oob customer attribute. This field is mentioned in the ticket description above. Please let us know if UI and backend change can be done by IBM to include this attribute.
Hi Vimal,
Thank you for submitting your idea. I have discussed with the team and it would be a significant effort to generically support pricing rule assignment by any extended attribute. A simpler option would be to provide several new customer reference fields that can then be used for pricing rule assignment. We would pursue this as an update to customer APIs to be able to manage the customer attributes, pricing rule assignment APIs to be able to manage assignment based on these attributes, and pricing logic itself to consider these new attributes. It is unlikely that the SBC UI would be updated, but SBC extension is possible in order to update the screen to suit your needs.
