Enable Delivery Schedule Line Event Enablement for Demand Planning in B2B Contract Orders

In the B2B Contract Orders module, delivery schedule lines are generated a configurable number of days before the requested delivery date.

Demand Planning / Supply Planning systems need information available in the delivery scheduled lines like planned delivery date, product, quanaity etc for -

  • Forecast demand

  • Plan procurement

  • Optimize production and distribution

Currently, the product does not publish any event when delivery schedule lines are generated. Even though delivery schedule lines currently doesnt create a demand in the product, still the demand planning systems need information regarding future demands for better planning.

Introduce a event that is triggered upon:

  • Creation of delivery schedule lines

  • modification or cancellation of delivery schedule lines
