Ping Federate For OIDC Partner

Hi,

Current Sterling OMS OMoC does not support Ping Federate as the OIDC Provider. Since multiple retailers are having Ping Federate as the Authentication Provider, it is really needed to support the same in OMoC also.

Thanks,

OIDC (OpenID Connect) is an open, vendor-neutral standard defined by the OpenID Foundation and is not owned by Okta or Microsoft Entra. Any standards-compliant IdP, including Ping Identity, should be interoperable with applications implementing OIDC correctly. Limiting OIDC support to only Okta and Entra creates a practical challenge for enterprises that use IBM apps but do not have either of these IdPs and in my case restricts to move to Ping. I am not sure how other customers with different IDP's are dealing with this, and we need a generic oidc connection soon. Thanks.

    Hi,

I would like to vote for Ping Federate to be included in the OIDC provider list for IBM OMS SaaS offering ASAP please. This would be a mandatory security requirement for the OMS implementation in the organization. Appreciate a quick turnaround on this.
