Support for Capturing Additional Information in B2B Contract Recurrence Plans and Delivery Schedules

The B2B Contract Orders module allows automatic creation of sales orders using recurrence plans defined by the account manager. The current recurrence plan and delivery schedule structures captures details such as shipping address and frequency. In many business scenarios, additional information (e.g., required Level of Service like Next Day Delivery) must flow into the sales orders generated from the contract. Today, there is no mechanism to capture or pass such additional fields as part of the recurrence plan or delivery schedule.

This enhancement requests the ability to include and store additional attributes within recurrence plans and delivery schedules so that relevant business-specific information can be carried forward to the automatically created sales orders.

How will this idea be used?

There are business information like delivery window, delivery service levels which are needed to be part of the sales orders created from contract. These are dependent on the delivery address and also can be different for sales orders created from one contract.
