Enhancement Request: Order Service API Audit Logs

Hi IBM Sterling Support Team,

We are requesting an enhancement to the Order Service API to provide comprehensive audit logs for API calls.

Currently, we lack detailed, accessible audit trails for interactions with the Order Service API. This absence creates significant challenges for:

  • Troubleshooting and incident investigation: Pinpointing the exact sequence of events, data payloads, and user/system initiators during issues is extremely difficult without clear API-level audit logs.

  • Security and compliance: Without granular logs, it's challenging to track who accessed what data or performed which actions via the API, making it harder to meet internal and external audit requirements.

  • Performance monitoring and optimization: Understanding API usage patterns and identifying potential bottlenecks is limited without this visibility.

Please let us know if this is an enhancement you can consider for a future release, and what the potential roadmap might look like.
