Chained order link is not always visible on Order Lines table in Order Hub

Chained order link is missing in Sales order line table, for scenario where a Return order is archived (residing in history table) and sales order is active order (residing in transaction table). It shows up fine when the return order also resides in transaction table. Chained order link is not always visible on Order Lines table in Order Hub, hence users are missing the view and not able to get the related order details. Without the identifier on the line it is difficult for users to know that there is a chained order existing and more so it won't help in case there are multiple lines and they belong to different return orders.

Without the identifier on the line it is difficult for users to know that there is a chained order existing and more so it won't help in case there are multiple lines and they belong to different return orders. Hence there is a significant delay in order to look up respective return details which has operational impact.

This is indeed a tiny but helpful functionality to quickly relate sales and return order lines. Much needed feature!

Great suggestion - Full visibility on all open and archived orders is crucial to manage returns and quickly see historical behavior of the customers.
