This portal is to open public enhancement requests for IBM Sterling products and services. To view all of your ideas submitted to IBM, create and manage groups of Ideas, or create an idea explicitly set to be either visible by all (public) or visible only to you and IBM (private), use the IBM Unified Ideas Portal (https://ideas.ibm.com).
We invite you to shape the future of IBM, including product roadmaps, by submitting ideas that matter to you the most. Here's how it works:
Start by searching and reviewing ideas and requests to enhance a product or service. Take a look at ideas others have posted, and add a comment, vote, or subscribe to updates on them if they matter to you. If you can't find what you are looking for,
Post an idea.
Get feedback from the IBM team and other customers to refine your idea.
Follow the idea through the IBM Ideas process.

Scenario in question:
1) Set the Node Locale to CST or any Locale which is behind UTC (assuming your application server is in UTC)
2) Set the Full Day Calendar for the Node from 00:00 to 23:59.
3) In SBC, the Slot Group is created with Start Time and End Time as 00:00:00 and 23:59:59 Respectively.
4) Create a Resource Pool for the Node in SBC, and use the above Slot Group.
5) In SMC set the following flags:
yfs.useNodeLocaleTimeForCapacityCheck =true
yfs.nodecapacity.considerSlotEndTime=Y
6) In Configurator set Souring Rule: go to DOM > Cross Application > Order Promising > Sourcing and Scheduling > Product Being Shipped > Sourcing Rules. In the Sourced From Details dialogue window, set "Consider Only Those Nodes That Have A Minimum Available Capactiy of "0.1" % Within The Next "1" Day(s).
Scenario #1:
a) Create and schedule the Order before 7PM CST.
b) Notice that if the Capacity is available in SBC's Resource Pool, the order using the current day's capacity from the Resource Pool. However, if the Capacity is full, the Order is getting Back-ordered.
Scenario #2:
a) Create and schedule the Order after 7PM CST.
b) Notice that if the Capacity is available in SBC's Resource Pool, the order using the current day's capacity from the Resource Pool. However, if the Capacity is full, the Order is NOT getting Back-ordered but use the next day's capacity from the resource pool.
The expectation: behavior should be consistent for the date at node i.e. both orders should be backordered.
We are targetting this for H1 2025 most likely in Q2.
