TO should get scheduled on product Available date rather than moving it into further date while performing backward date calculation on ETS based on ETD for optimal solution

Currently as per design When the TO is created on Tuesday, and the transit time identified based on the carrier service is 2 days, then the ETS is on Tuesday and the ETD is on Thursday (considering the working hours). Similarly, when the TO is created on Thursday and the transit time is 2 days, then the ETD would fall on Saturday which is a holiday and hence the product is doing a backward calculation on ETS based on ETD and moving the ETS to Monday.

TO should ideally get scheduled on the product available date and the product should actually calculate ETS and ETD based on receiving node working and non working days

What is your industry? Retail
How will this idea be used?

This will help in scheduling the TO on the date of product availability and correct calculations of ETS and ETD

    Hello,

After reviewing this use case and the product behavior, we concluded that we the observed product behavior is the most optimal in terms of goods movement and saving capacity of the store for unexpected orders. This is for just-in-time fulfillment which reduces time in transit for shipments.

To overcome the dates, you may choose to use changeOrderScheudle api to override dates on transfer orders. Alternately, you can also use an internal carrier service which considers deliveries on non-working days (essentially accounting for goods movements on non-working dates).
