Many of our clients manage their 'Repairable' stocked materials by setting a Re-Order Qty (ROQ) = 1. In the case of our SAP clients, this means setting the Maximum to be the same as the Re-Order Point (ROP).
This request is to create a new ROQ Method, that calculates the 'Optimal' ROP, where the ROQ is Fixed to 1.
The reason some of our client set the ROQ to one, is so that their ERP generates a requisition immediately an item is Issued. This enables the client to then follow-up with the End User in order to ensure the broken (core) item is returned to the Store and so that they can then send that broken core away for Repair immediately.
