Currently SPE adapter returns the data with UTF8 encoding by default for the corresponding ITX external data harness functions supported by ITXA.
These returned values from SPE in a string format as UFT8 encoding by default to the Transformation Engine for further processing/transformation purposes in the map.
ITX team and customer are expecting that the data or codelist values should return from API /SPE adapter would be a parameterized format which can be customizable with the required encoding format based on Business needs.
In the whole process the encoding format of data should stay intact even though a different encoding is getting used apart from the UTF8 encoding.

How will this idea be used?
In the whole process the encoding format of data should stay intact even though a different encoding is getting used apart from the UTF8 encoding. In this way non-English characters can process through ITXA without tampering. |
