Resuable work files under cics

We are using ITX with the Supply chain support pack.
This require us to call ITX with, (READONLY files from ITX/support pack):

We call ITX with command string:

EDFCODES Defined to CICS as a ESDS VSAM dataset(currently 84 records(<32K size)
EDFFWDEF Defined to CICS as a ESDS VSAM dataset(currently 1 records(<2K size)
EDFSTRUC Defined to CICS as a ESDS VSAM dataset(currently 10545 records(<13M size)
EDICC Defined to CICS as a ESDS VSAM dataset(currently 23 records(<32K size)
ERRCODES Defined to CICS as a ESDS VSAM dataset(currently 133 records(<32K size)

We want these files not to cause overhead.

This could be done by pre-loading these into shared cics storage(NOT CICS TS-Queues) that can be shared/accessed across cics tasks/invocations of the ITX Command Server. Possibly with similar techinique as PRE-loading of mapsets.

The load could be from the above mentioned VSAM ESDS files.

Or these files could be converted to Loadmodules, that cics can load as any other application program/table.

I think that the EDFSTRUC with its 10545 records and 13m in size, is the first candidate to be optimized.
