Allow map tests from Design Studio to run against SPE Server

This idea would allow users to run a map test from their locally installed copy of Design Studio on ITXA installed on a server, the same way that we can currently run IBM Mapper tests against Sterling Integrator, and run Design Studio map tests against Sterling Integrator.

Currently, it is only possible to run a test from Design Studio on SPE if Design Studio and SPE are installed on the same server, which would require all developers to download and install ITXA.

How will this idea be used?

When developing a map, it is often required to run preliminary "local" tests in Design Studio, before deploying a map to SPE. If the map in question makes use of the SPE Adapter to access codelists deployed in SPE, the map will not translate successfully if is it saved, built and run locally, and it also will not translate successfully if the test is run on Sterling B2B Integrator, as the code lists are not deployed there.

The only solutions are to fully deploy the map onto SPE and run a full test through every time a test needs to be run, which is very cumbersome and time-consuming, or to export the codelists from SPE into SI, update the map throughout to use the Sterling adapter rather than the SPE adapter, and then run the test against Sterling B2B Integrator, remembering to revert all of the map changes before deploying the final version on SPE.

This idea would mean that a developer can run multiple tests against SPE and get an accurate translation without having to prematurely deploy the map, or replicate codelists and make changes to the map to be able to run a local test again Sterling B2B Integrator.

    We are not looking at putting new features into Design Studio at this time.
