When importing an Excel Spreadsheet as a type tree, the importer creates a type tree with Generic Names : ie . COLA COLB.....
If the importer can have an option to use the first ROW as the Column Names, then when the type tree is created, the Column names would be meaningful to the data.

How will this idea be used?
When there is an excel file that is being used in a map where the Excel file has the column names in the first row. A developer would use the Excel Importer, choose the Spread Sheet Name, check option - First Row has Column Names -- Type Tree is created.
This would help identify the column names and save the developers from having to over ride the default Column names. |
