Currently IBM Transformation extender tool (version 10.0.0) using ODBC adapter for sybase DB connections for creating .mdq file. We are able to connect syabse database with normal port but we are facing issue while connecting with ssl port. When created IBM case and reached product support team, Paul Bratt recommended for ODBC adapter upgrade to connect Sybase DB with ssl port. PFB solution from Paul Bratt:
Enter an enhancement request (along with Case closure) and follow the progress of that request with Product Management until such time as the feature is implemented (which could be months if ever). If coded as an enhancement, a new Case would be raised to get a copy of that adapter.
Case ID - TS005847443

Could you please share your thoughts on the below request.
Also please let us know from vendor side how we can proceed with ssl connection using ODBC adapter for sybase DB connections since you are not going to upgrade/do it vendor specific.
Could you please clarify in detail if this is possible on connecting SSL port with sybase ODBC adapter or any other solution from your end to connect SSL port.
We recognize that this is a challenge, however our focus and the industry's focus is to move toward non-vendor specific JDBC integration models
We are in the urgency mode to make this changes to make our jobs work with ssl as non ssl port is getting disabled. Kindly help us to proceed further.
