Existing maps from Sterling B2B integrator are imported to ITXA.
Map names follow company's naming standard which is expecting up to 240 characters currently allowed in Sterling.
ITXA has limit of 50 characters.
Impact of this limit prevents seamless migration to ITXA, where now we need to rename map before migration and also change configurations that contain those map names.

Just wanted to post a little support for this one the map names have to carry a LOT of detail we have:
A 3-charater tag to identify custom additions to Sterling Map/BP/Etc
The doc version which also carries type and we use the full 008050 style (because we are two major versions away from 010-01-0 or 010010)
Do number 810 (Note X12 vs EDIFACT you trade of version lenth for document number length)
Direction I/O/Z -In/Out/Custom(Mutually defined)
Something to carry the business usage
Something to indicate the internal format
(And all this with separators between each)
50 isn't enough many times to carry this level of uniqueness.
