Enhancement request to create EVAL() function to calculate final value from excel formula

My input is Excel (excel adapter). Excel cell is having mathematical functions (ex: =100+200-50). While execution data is reading as 100+200-50. But my requirement is to map the final value i.e 250.

How will this idea be used?

Excel file will have many formulas, out of that we mainly use addition, subtraction and multiplication. By default we have to create fields with text format in type tree to pass the input side validation. So if we want to achieve this functionality we have to use many word, find, countstring functions to calculate the final value. So it is better we create EVAL() function to calculate the final value.

Similar functionality can be accomplished via a map rule. We do see this could have some utility, but would not be able to prioritize this in the course of the next 12 months. Please resubmit next year if you feel this would still be of value
