TX Email Adapter support for SMTP authentication.

The email adapter needs to support the authentication features of Enhanced SMTP.  My shop switched to use of ESMTP nearly 3 years ago.  I have to have my TX servers whitelisted by my IT Security department on our internal email server because all email requests coming from TX are seen as anonymous requests.  It would be good to not always have to make exceptions for my TX servers especially when it comes to security compliance.

What is your industry? Insurance
How will this idea be used?

As a developer of TX applications I would supply USER and PASSWORD  arguments as part of target commands for the email adapter and those arguments would be successfully interpreted by an email server that is authenticating service requests per Enhanced SMTP protocol, rather than the authentication values being ignored and the service request being interpreted as an anonymous request by the email server..
