Implement old IBM computers in every school in Africa

Micro-Recyc-Coopération is a social economy and international cooperation organization active since 2003 based in Montreal (Quebec-Canada). The mandate of our activity is to computerize educational establishments in the South and to raise public awareness of e-waste in the North. Our vision and mission highlight the empowerment and valuation of people through ICT.

By doing this, we give an opportunity to people that have never even had an opportunity to use a computer, to learn, progress and eventually become proficient with a computer. The future of South America and Africa can be IBM. By being able to use IBM from the get go, when those countries will develop, they will constitute a big market for IBM for their new or old products.

It's a way to not only give to charity, free space, change the world and invest for future clients. We want to work with you in order to accomplish that vision. We want to be able to go in schools and libraries around third-world countries and give them a space, a class where they can use IBM computer. The first computer they will use, will be IBM.
What is your industry? Electronics
How will this idea be used?

By being able to give a second life to computer equipment by collecting in the north to benefit educational institutions for disadvantaged populations.

1st. Is to have computer equipment that are old, not used, or not sold by IBM and that they would rather give.

2. As we are partners and continue acquiring partners (schools and libraries) around the world, we will implement IBM computers inside those schools.

3. Watch and observe the gratitude and the emerging market to become IBM clients.
