Would require an IV API which accepts input at Ship Node and Safety Stock quantity.
Node Level Safety Stock applies to all items present in the ship node if there is no safety stock configured at Item , Item - Node or Item - Node - Delivery Method level.

Setting Safety Stock at Node Level , will be updated to a higher value for stores with higher in store traffic. Stores with a lower in store traffic can set safety stock quantity to a lesser value. This will help reducing cancellation rate and optimize fill rates for a store.

Currently IV supports setting safety stock using Item-Node-Delivery Method combination. When there are a large number of items at a node it becomes difficult to set SS for each item individually. We would ideally like to set a value at a nodeType ...
