Inventory Audit & Reporting Capabilities Merged

Inventory Audit : Currently Inventory Visibility does not provide details on the inventory audit, .i.e. inventory activity by SKU level for a given date range. There should be an option to get the details on all the inventory changes ( like adjustments, SHIPMENT etc) for an item for a date range

e.g. if the inventory changed from X to Y, what was the transaction responsible for that including when that happened.

Why is this required

  1. This is very important if any analysis needs to be done for inventory discrepancies.

  2. Legacy GIV provides this capability

  3. Most of the customer expect to have proper visibility on their inventory

Reporting: Additionally, there should also be some option available to download report for inventory data on all SKUs. or an option to extract inventory information for all the items in some form.

Why is this required

  1. Most of the customers expect to have option to report on the inventory information which is the key component.

  2. Required for inventory reconciliation with inventory master system

What is your industry? Retail
How will this idea be used?

The audit and reporting information on inventory is key for customers for inventory reconciliation & to analyse potential inventory discrepancies.
