support SSL for HTTP notification

Currently the production offer a functionnality to generate http notification about transfert event (file sended, file receipted - start/end).

The XML notification is pushed to an URL using the HTTP protocol.

The message only push metadata of the transfert, no file payload.

For security purpose, we would like to secure this http message by using HTTPS protocol, to encrypt the metadata.

What is your industry? Banking
How will this idea be used?

the ideal is to secure the notification and avoid clear http notification

Thank you for opening this enhancement request with IBM. I have reviewed this request thoroughly with my team and we agree that adding SSL encryption for HTTP notifications would be a beneficial enhancement. I have accepted this request and it will be added to our backlog. We'll look to slot this into the roadmap moving forward.

    Sincerely,

    Chris Sanders
