Please include both userIDs in the SMF 132 record for SU - Select User events for the CDz authorization file.

The CDz SMF 132 record records a wealth of data. Batch JCL for CDz execution allows the command "SEL USER WHERE (USERID=(*)) EXCLUDE = (AUTH)" to list users in the CDz authorization file. You (IBM CDz development support) display both userIDs in the JCL batch job output. In the SMF data for CDz SMF type 132 events, you do not display both user IDs for each authrization file record. Specifically, you only display the remote userID and not the local security ID.

What is your industry? Banking
How will this idea be used?

If the local and remote userid are present in the SU event of SMF 132 data then users can easily extract the data into single line records much easier than using the "SEL USER WHERE (USERID=(*)) EXCLUDE = (AUTH)" output.

The SEL USER WHERE (USERID=(*)) EXCLUDE = (AUTH) report output is not displayed as a single line record and requires someone to use REXX or some other programming language to read the report based on a scheme of logic that would have to use things in the report as a delimiter in order to extract both user IDs for display in a single line record. We have tools here that read SMF data well, but if the data we need is not even in the record then we have to use coding techniques that cause the extraction process to be less efficient.
